Vilas County Bass Fishing with Big Jay

Due to the number of lakes in Vilas County, Big Jays Bassin Guide Service focuses mainly on the smaller, out of the way lakes scattered throughout the county as they provide action, and have potential for trophies bass. Such communities we fish in convenient proximity to are Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Lac du Flambeau, Presque Isle, and Winchester. We visit these communities and their nearby lakes often, and fish them hard May through October. We also support their local economies and establishments too. If you're vacationing in any of these towns, we're just a short drive away from the lakes we will be fishing.

Smallmouth bass are undoubtedly my favorite species of freshwater gamefish. From the sophisticated gear and tackle, to the techniques and pursuit, and angling battles and their sexy looks, nothing tickles my fancy more than these fish.
